Today’s episode is the first one recorded in English. The speaker is an extremely interesting ocean expert working on the pressing issues of plastic pollution and ecology. My guest today is Jo Ruxton from the UK, the founder of the charity, Ocean Generation. Jo produced the documentary called Plastic Ocean (available on Netflix) and currently is working on a new project. In this episode, we discussed the piles of plastic in the oceans, how plastic consumed by the fish affects human health through the food chain. Also, we had a chance to talk about recycling, why it is not an answer to everything and how to avoid plastic in everyday life.
